- Woolwich Works – This award-winning cultural hub hosts live music, comedy and family events as well as food and leisure festivals. With flexible and beautiful venue spaces, it is home to a variety of event programmes including the renowned Blue Earth Summit. Royal Arsenal, Woolwich, open all year.
- Greenwich Peninsula Art Trail - Explore Greenwich Peninsula's public art trail featuring a number of public art from some of the world’s most renowned artists, Greenwich Peninsula, all year round.
- Hidden Spaces Tours at St Alfege Church, Galleries & Crypt – Descend into the crypt area, revealing the many stories of the people who have played their part in the history of Greenwich. Fortnightly on Saturdays.
- Luke Jerram’s Mars in the Painted Hall – See Luke Jerram’s astonishing installation Mars in the Painted Hall. Following the sell-out success of Gaia and Museum of the Moon, Mars has continued Jerram’s out-of-this-world installations at the iconic Old Royal Naval College. On display until 20 January 2025.
- Astronomy Photographer of the Year 16, a special exhibition of over 100 photographs on display at their best on brilliant lightbox displays, National Maritime Museum, until Summer 2025. Followed by APOTY 17 from September 2025.
- ROG 350 – In 2025, the Royal Observatory Greenwich celebrates its 350th anniversary. In this landmark year, there will be a series of events and activities that celebrate the rich history of the site and the work it does today. 350 years of pioneering research will be celebrated in talks, special planetarium shows, hand-on activities and stargazing events. Royal Observatory Greenwich, January to December 2025.
- Old Royal Naval College celebrates 100 years of filming – The 1925 silent film, Sons of the Sea by H. Bruce Woolfe about two boys in the Royal Navy was the first production on site at Old Royal Naval College. From spring 2025, visitors will have the opportunity to book onto new film tours. Wigs, Weddings, Palaces and Powder will showcase the many period dramas filmed in Greenwich including Bridgerton and The Crown. Spies, Supersleuths and Superheroes, launching later in the year will look at thrilling action TV & movies shot on location.
- Purple Week at the IFS Cloud Cable Car– To banish the winter blues and start the new year off well, the IFS Cloud Cable Car has created Purple Week where it will host a series of FREE wellbeing events, various locations around Greenwich Peninsula, 20 to 24 January 2025.
- Helios in the Painted Hall – the London première of Luke Jerram’s newest and most ambitious design, Helios. Named after the ancient Greek and Roman sun god, symbolic of time and life, Helios honours the Sun’s profound impact on human history and culture. Every centimetre of the seven metre internally lit artwork represents 2000km of the Sun’s fiery expanse. Old Royal Naval College, 25 January to 25 March 2025.
- Lunar New Year Celebration at Greenwich Peninsula – Ring in the Year of the Snake at Greenwich Peninsula with Dragon and Lion Dance performances. London’s only peninsula destination is hosting a packed programme of workshops, performances, food and drink to mark the Lunar New Year. Greenwich Peninsula, 1 February 2025. This event is part-funded by the UK government’s UK Shared Prosperity Fund, supported by the Royal Borough of Greenwich and the Mayor of London and in partnership with Visit Greenwich.
- LGBTQ+ History Month – Celebrate the queer histories in Royal Museums Greenwich's collections and the magnificent communities. From a festival of LGBTQ+ history, to the Queer History Club and a wonderful ball like no other. Cutty Sark / National Maritime Museum / Queen’s House, February 2025.
- The BRIT Awards – The UK’s biggest and most successful popular music awards show presented by the British Phonographic Industry (BPI), The O2 arena, 1 March 2025.
- British Science Week 2025 – Explore the wonders of space and time at the Royal Observatory Greenwich. The Observatory will be hosting a jam-packed programme of events and there will be something for everyone, Royal Observatory Greenwich, 7 to 16 March 2025.
- C2C Country to Country Festival - Europe’s biggest country music festival, The O2, 14 to 16 March 2025.
- Pirates – This major exhibition traces the changing depictions of pirates through the ages and reveals the brutal history obscured by fiction. National Maritime Museum, opens 29 March 2025.
- War Child present Secret 7”, the anonymous charity record sale where leading names from the worlds of music and art collaborate to produce 700 one-of-a-kind 7” singles, NOW Gallery, 11 April to 1 June 2025.
- Michael Ball & Alfie Boe: Together At Home Tour – Marking their 10th year making music together and is the much-loved collaborators’ hymn to the people and places that mean the most to them – and to their army of fans, The O2 arena, 13 April 2025.
- TCS London Marathon – Starts in Greenwich Park and continues through the Royal Borough to Woolwich, around the iconic Cutty Sark in Greenwich, 27 April 2025.
