Craft beer has grown in popularity in recent years and Greenwich has been at the heart of brewing some of the best, award-winning ales since the millennium.

The now world-famous brand Meantime Brewing Company was started right here in Greenwich by local Alastair Hook in 1999. The company still brew their delicious amber nectar in their state-of-the-art brewery on Blackwall Lane where you can take a tour with their expert, beer-loving guides, sit back and enjoy a few pints in The Tasting Rooms and even buy a few for the road at the Brewery Shop. 

In nearby Blackheath, Zerodegrees has been operating a microbrewery since 2000. Their brewery is set right in the middle of their restaurant, so you can watch the brewers at work while you sample the beers and eat their famous wood fired pizzas.
