Located on Greenwich Peninsula by the banks of the Thames you will find Firepit, an experimental, forward-thinking artist collective.

Firepit homes seven resident artists working in the space, as well as having associate artists and volunteers which form part of the collective, regularly dropping in, exhibiting and helping out. Inside Firepit, there are resident artists, working within an open plan area and gallery space open to the public with work available for purchase from Firepit Artists.

Fireepit has a programme of workshops, performance, and community projects and change their exhibitions seasonally inviting guests and makers to exhibit alongside them.

Firepit are in a unique position where some of the artists are community based, with much of their work centring around this interaction. They also home to commercial career artists, which are on the wave of prestige and success - working together, creating and developing new skills from these two different career paths.

Firepit runs as a non-profit collective, the artists comes first.
