Bring Your Toys to Life: A Filmmaking Adventure
Workshop Dates: Thursday 27th July
Time: 9:30am - 3:30pm
Imagine if your favourite toys could really talk, move, and go on adventures. Now, they can! In this workshop, children are invited to create their own magical short films starring their beloved toys. Using their own tablets or smartphones, children will dream up an exciting adventure for their toys. They'll learn how to write a script, create storyboards, and then translate their ideas into a captivating short film. Under the guidance of our professional filmmaker, children will learn techniques like puppetry and digital effects to make their toys come to life on screen. They'll film and edit their own stories, adding in voices and sound effects to complete the experience. The workshop will culminate in a final production that each child can take home for a special toy story movie night with family and friends. Please note that participants must bring their own tablet or smartphone, and their favourite toys. This workshop is a fantastic way to bring children's imagination to life and introduce them to the magic of filmmaking.
