About

Greenwich Peninsula Day Tour is a fun & eco-friendly way to enjoy the amazing Greenwich Peninsula.

The tour will start by boarding the IFS Cloud Cable Car (previously known as the Emirates Air Line Cable Car), a spectacular Thames Gondola ride across the River Thames, with its breath-taking views of The O2. We will then take a short walk up to Trinity Buoy Wharf, home to London's only lighthouse, built in 1864. It was originally used to train lighthouse keepers, but the Wharf is home now to artists' workspaces, event spaces as well as the amazing Container City.  This is also where scientist Michael Faraday carried out his ground-breaking optical experiments.  We pause here for a well-deserved coffee break on the Wharf, before returning to the Peninsula on the IFS Cloud Cable Car. Once on the Peninsula, we will begin to explore the Design District with its very original architecture. Time for lunch. Afterwards, we circumnavigate the world-famous Millenium Dome or The O2 as Londoners now call it, stopping for more photo ops along the way.  We are now ready for our final stop, a walk down to the Meantime Brewery to enjoy a brief tour as well as samples of their extraordinary beers. The tour completes here.

Tour includes:
- IFS Cloud Cable Car Ride
- Trinity Buoy Wharf
- Coffee Break on the Wharf
- Guided Tour of Design District
- Lunch
- A walk around The O2 arena
- Meantime Brewery Tour and beer sampling
