About

With over 50 years of experience, Thames River Sightseeing is one of the longest running Westminster to Greenwich river boat cruises. All their crew members are experienced boatmen, some with family connections to the River Thames going back generations.

TRS (formally Thames River Services) was created when a group of independent party boat owners joined forces to start a sightseeing company. In the daytime, tourists can enjoy sightseeing trips on the river, and in the evening groups of party-goers can hire boats for parties and corporate events.

They have just undergone a major rebrand that has seen the amalgamation of their two services Thames River Services and Circular Cruise, to become the new Thames River Sightseeing brand.

With choice of four departure points, you can explore London the way you want to. Take time to sightsee many of London’s best tourist attractions from the river from the safety of their open top boats which operate come rain or shine.

While you’re onboard any of their boats, you can settle back and enjoy the entertaining and sometimes hilarious live commentary from the crew members or opt to listen to the multilingual audio commentary on your smartphone.

They operate services all year round, so you can rest assured that boats have outdoor viewing decks as well as heated lounges with panoramic windows. Come rain, come shine, you will be able to relax and watch the world go by in comfort.

Other outlets at Greenwich Pier, St Katherine's Pier, and Embankment Pier.

Thames River Sightseeing offers a range of services for schools, coach groups and the travel trade. All of their cruises feature live audio commentary. Tickets available online or at Westminster, Embankment & St. Katharine’s Piers. Multi-lingual commentary system available on smartphones in English, German, French, Spanish, Italian and Mandarin. Suitable for all weathers Thames River Sightseeing boats have licensed bars and toilets.
