The Royal Borough of Greenwich welcomes SOCSEA24, the 4th Society and the Sea International Conference. Hosted by the University of Greenwich, from 9 to 10 September, the conference will explore the strategies required to build a sustainable maritime economy.
Maritime Greenwich, home to the Prime Meridian of the World, the University of Greenwich, Old Royal Naval College, National Maritime Museum, Cutty Sark and a host of other sites of seagoing significance, is a natural choice for SOCSEA24 to be based.
Guests will hear from expert practitioners on two conference stages: ‘Green Waves’ (focusing on energy transition and sustainability); and ‘Blue Invest’ (business opportunities, societal benefits and supply chain collaboration).
