Join the workshop to learn the basics of Chinese calligraphy and celebrate Chinese New Year!
You will be introduced to common Chinese calligraphy fonts and create red couplets and woodblock prints for Chinese New Year during this 1 hour workshop.
This workshop is suitable for any level of Chinese calligraphy lovers. You will create a pair of red couplets and woodblock prints during the workshop. All Chinese calligraphy tools will be provided.
About InkJoyGraphy
May Chan, aka InkJoyGraphy, is a Chinese calligrapher based in the UK. She has dedicated more than 20 years to writing Chinese calligraphy. She completed a diploma in Chinese calligraphy from the Chinese University of Hong Kong in 2011. She has held exhibitions and won numerous awards for her calligraphy art pieces in Hong Kong.
May provides face-to-face and online calligraphy classes and workshops while also running an Etsy shop offering custom artworks.
She believes that Chinese calligraphy is not just a hobby, but a way of life!
