An unforgettable once-in-lifetime dining experience with guest chef Anthony Demetre, chef patron of Michelin-starred restaurant Wild Honey St James

About

Dine beneath an awe-inspiring art installation.

Join the Old Royal Naval College in the breathtaking Painted Hall for an unforgettable once-in-lifetime dining experience with guest chef Anthony Demetre, chef patron of Michelin-starred restaurant Wild Honey St James.

As part of the closing weekend celebrations for the stunning art installation by designer Paul Cocksedge, Coalescence, Demetre has curated a sustainable dining experience using locally sourced and seasonal British produce. Each course is perfectly paired with sustainably sourced fine wines including a welcome glass of England’s finest sparkling from the Ridgeview Estate in East Sussex, an award-winning B Corp, accredited under the Wines GB Sustainability scheme.

You’ll also be treated to an ‘in conversation’ with Anthony discussing sustainability and innovations in fine dining.

The evening includes:
- Canape and drinks reception serving Ridgeview’s finest sustainable English Sparkling wine
- 3-course sustainable fine dining menu by Michelin Star Chef, Anthony Demetre
- Curated sustainable fine wine pairing to complement each dish
- Post-dinner In Conversion with Anthony himself
- Tea, Coffee and Petit Fours

A non-alcoholic option of carefully selected botanicals will complement each dish. Please state preference when booking.

“Anthony Demetre’s cooking proves the perfect fit because it is equally impressive but defined by a refreshing lack of showmanship. His appealing dishes are as generous in size as they are rewarding in flavour.” – Michelin Guide 2023

About Coalescence
Coalescence
, an artwork by designer Paul Cocksedge, is making its London debut at the Painted Hall, Old Royal Naval College.

Made from over 2,500 pieces of coal – the amount consumed by a single 200W light bulb in a year – Coalescence will be suspended against the iconic Painted Hall, where it will create an intricate play of shadow and sparkle that draws on the lustrous quality of the anthracite, a form of high-carbon coal. This installation promises to captivate viewers while inviting them to question our relationship with, and dependence on fossil fuels.
