Craft Week: NOW Gallery x Charlotte Kidger

About

As part of Craft Week 2023, NOW Gallery invites London based Maker Charlotte Kidger, known for her use of salvaged materials and unconventional design processes to create carefully crafted objet d’art, furniture and public artworks. In their ephemeral materiality, Kidger’s sculptures reference remnants of a crumbling ruin, combining corrugated circular forms and broken textural surfaces with vibrant assemblages of colour. Led with a hands-on approach to investigating undervalued resources, Kidger’s practice highlights the potential of ‘Circular-Crafts’ and sustainable design.
