The Creek Know-How course shares the secrets of this hidden gem as you learn about Deptford Creek and the tidal environment.

About

Spend a day in one of London's most bio-diverse spaces, learn something new, and have fun!

The Creek Know-How course shares the secrets of this hidden gem as you learn about Deptford Creek and the tidal environment, and practice what you learn as you wade the river with us!

This FREE one day course introduces the risks involved and how to assess them as you interpret tidal data that will help you understand the tidal river.

Explore how to safely interact with a wild river, especially a tidal one - delivered by a conservation team.

Deptford Creek is the only one in London where you can safely wade onto the river bed at low tide and glimpse the abundant wildlife it supports from mitten crabs and flounders to swans and wildflowers.

It's a great chance to learn the basics for being a volunteer river guide with us too!
