Celya AB (headlining) - Originally from Paris, Celya AB stands out as a dynamic stand-up comedian and adept writer, commanding attention with her captivating stage presence and brilliantly crafted material. Her performances have not only earned critical acclaim but have also resulted in sold-out tours at prestigious venues and festivals, including the Edinburgh Festival Fringe and Soho Theatre. 

Celya won Chortle Best Newcomer in 2022 and was Funny Women finalist. She has left her mark on notable shows such as Live At The Apollo and Off Menu with Ed Gamble and James Acaster. Her rising popularity is evident in her expanding fanbase, providing her with opportunities to support renowned figures like US comic Maria Bamford and acclaimed musician St Vincent during their recent UK tours.

As a writer, she has worked on various programmes across BBC, Channel 4 and Comedy Central, as well as James Acaster’s Springleaf and has made regular panel appearances on The News Quiz.

With her recent appearance on a significant showcase at the Montreal Comedy Festival as part of the International New Faces in 2023 and the Melbourne International Comedy Festival 2024, Celya has firmly established herself as one of the UK's comedy treasures.

* The performances take place in the Michael Edwards Studio Theatre, situated on the Lower Hold deck of Cutty Sark. This will be an evening of comedy not to be missed, inside the unique setting of Cutty Sark. Drinks will be available to buy before the performance and during the interval.
