Weaving Fabric

About

Step aboard Greenwich's historic ship Cutty Sark after hours for a special night celebrating London Craft Week.

Fabric of the Land: the Cutty Sark Wool Experience knits together the history of Cutty Sark and its role in transporting wool from Australia with a modern story of wool, design and innovation.

The night includes an exclusive screening of Fabric of the Land: The Untold Yarn, a documentary by Paul Wyatt that goes behind the scenes with London makers who work with wool.

The film follows renowned designer Ella Doran’s journey to create products using wool sourced from sheep that roam Yorkshire Sculpture Park.

Director Paul Wyatt, artist Ella Doran and special guests will join after the film for a special Q&A session. The night will also include drinks, live music and poetry, plus a chance to enjoy the immersive Cutty Sark Soundscape experience.
