Ottoman Gravestone On Tour This Summer

Come to Greenwich Libraries this summer to experience a fragment from the Ottoman Empire for yourself!

A perfect replica of an Ottoman gravestone, from Royal Greenwich Heritage Trust collection, has been produced by Captivate Greenwich at University of Greenwich. The Ottoman Stone on tour will allow everyone to see and touch the stone up close.

The Ottoman Gravestone will be on tour at the following locations:
– Greenwich Centre Library (21st June to 5th July)
– Eltham Centre Library (5th July to 18th July) 
– Woolwich Centre Library (22nd July to 20th August)
– Plumstead Library (20th August to late-September)

Children’s drop-in craft sessions will be available for children aged 5-12 years old at the following locations:
– Eltham Centre Library (10th July)
– Woolwich Centre Library (14th August)
– Plumstead Library (10th September)

Talks sessions about the Stone by Dr Michael Talbot will be held at the following locations;
– Greenwich Centre Library (26th June)
– Eltham Centre Library (16th July)
– Plumstead Library (18th September)
