Royal Docks Finale Celebration: Clipper Round the World Yacht Race Finish 2022

About

On 30 July, the Clipper Round the World Yacht Race finishes its epic circumnavigation in London's historic Royal Docks, and the Royal Docks team is organising a free celebratory event for all to enjoy. Featuring music, entertainment, sailing, water sports and more – the Royal Albert Dock will come alive to mark the global event.

Everyone is welcome to an eclectic programme, including live music from Miss DJ Candy, Natalie Shay and Tyler Rix from 12pm. From 2pm – 4pm, visitors will be treated to a spectacular 'Parade of Sail' by the Clipper Race fleet, followed by an official award ceremony for the winners, where attendees will hear about each crew's voyage.

At 4.30pm, the celebrations continue with an after party, with live music on the main stage by PARC, Groove Empire, the incredible award-winning Abba tribute act ARRIVAL and Betty Boo will end celebrations between 8 – 9pm.

Whilst all this is taking place, there will be roving performances to entertain the crowds and family workshops, as well as areas to learn more about the Clipper Race and watersports. Find out more: https://www.royaldocks.london/whats-on/round-the-world-clipper-race-finish-2022
