A new programme for foster and adoptive families

About

Safe Harbour is a series of free workshops created to provide a safe space for foster and adoptive families with children under 13 years.

Join in from 12:30pm, bring along a snack or lunch and say hello to other families. After refreshments, take part in creative activities inspired by the items in the National Maritime Museum. During the activities you can pop in and out as your family needs.

Interested in finding out more? Foster and adoptive families are welcome to pop along and say hello when sessions are running. The facilitator will be happy to chat about the sessions to help you decide if you'd like to attend in future.

Safe Harbour has been created in consultation with support organisations including We Are Family, and local foster and adoptive families. The sessions are an opportunity for families to have fun together in a friendly and welcoming space.

* Suitable for families with children aged 13 or under
