About

Sunday Slowdown Sound Bath, led by Laura & Tom of Found in Sound, is a space where your mind, body, and spirit can restore, repair, and reset with sound healing.

This session takes place at a beautiful yoga studio in Greenwich (Studio 225) and begins with a gentle group meditation, breath work & intention setting, before moving into a sound healing featuring a mix of therapeutic instruments (such as the gong, crystal singing bowls, the voice) all played gently, to bring you into a place of rest and reflection, which many compare to a meditative state.

It is in this meditative, relaxed & restful state, that the body can do what it knows how to do best - heal. This is why sound baths can be so beneficial, as it activates the body's innate self-healing mechanisms, clearing out any stagnation, toxins, and blockages in the way of energy flow.

This sound bath perfectly aligns with the full moon, an auspicious time when we are encouraged to look within at what needs to be released on all levels, for us to feel good and prosper. A sound bath is an ideal place to do this, and the moon's energies, together with sound and intention, makes for a more powerful healing, if you are open to receive it.

After the sound healing there is a brief moment of silence to allow integration before joining together as a group for some group mantra to fully energise the body.

* There are some health conditions that sound healing is not suited for - please check the event page on Found in Sound's website before booking.
