Here at the Old Royal Naval College, the volunteers are a key part of the historic institution and are on the lookout for more passionate people who share a love for history, culture, and community engagement.

Join in for an exciting day of discovery and opportunity where you’ll have the chance to chat with the friendly team about what it’s like to volunteer here and explore the stunning site with a taster tour.

Whether you’re a history enthusiast, a local resident, or simply looking to make a meaningful contribution, you are invited you to discover the rewarding opportunities that await you.

What’s included;
Taster Tours of the site

Join one of the 30-minute taster tours of the site, where you’ll get to see some of the incredible buildings, explore the grounds and learn about the fascinating history of the Old Royal Naval College. You’ll also have the opportunity to have your questions answered by the friendly staff and volunteers.
Sessions: 12:30pm, 1:30pm, 2:30pm and 3:30pm
* Tour numbers are limited and will operate on a first-come, first-serve basis. 

Meet Current Volunteers
Engage with the dedicated team of volunteers and hear their personal stories and experiences. Learn about the application process and how you can get involved.

NOTE: On the day, you’ll find a member of the team at the Visitor Centre. From here you can check in and join the tours.
