Come along to explore the wines of Marlborough’s Little Beauty with co-owner Fleur McCree, and Central Otago’s Te Kano with Head of Marketing Natalie

About

Join Davy's Wine Vaults Greenwich in the al fresco setting of Vintners Yard to explore the wines of Marlborough’s Little Beauty with co-owner Fleur McCree, and Central Otago’s Te Kano with Head of Marketing Natalie Walsh. After the tasting, enjoy food and wine matching with delicious chargrilled lamb cutlets with feta and mint alongside wine from the two estates.

The evening will begin with an aperitif of the wonderfully refreshing and well-balanced Little Beauty Sauvignon Blanc before tasting through wines from each estate including Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and more. Following on from the tasting, we’ll enjoy an informal dinner with wines alongside Fleur & Natalie who will be on hand to answer any questions you may have.

About Little Beauty, Marlborough
Fleur and her husband co-own this estate in Marlborough’s Southern Valleys where they create wines that stand out from the crowd. The property is spread over five plots, each with a distinct soil profile and microclimate, which offers winemaker Eveline Fraser – who previously headed winemaking at Cloudy Bay – a unique chance to make unusually complex, multi-dimensional wines. The winemaking approach is modern, but there is more than a nod towards tradition; in ‘Little Beauty’ the best of the new and the best of the old unite together seamlessly.

About Te Kano, Central Otago
Te Kano, the Maori word for The Seed, is a family-owned wine estate in Central Otago primarily producing artisanal Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, and Pinot Gris. The family behind the wines is passionate about the land and committed to its rejuvenation – an ethos that reminds us that the seeds we plant today will blossom for generations to come. Following organic practices, they produce wines that reflect their terroir and express the characteristics of the distinct sub-regions of Central Otago.
