Programme for Women’s History Month:

Women's History Month at the Queen's House (Throughout March) 
Time: 10:00am - 5:00pm 
Venue: Queen's House
The Queen’s House is marking Women's History Month in style.
Whether you want to take part in themed tours and talks about amazing women or simply have fun following a trail, there are lots of experiences on offer.

Trail: Guess Who? (Throughout March)
Time: 10:00am - 5:00pm
Put your knowledge of the Queen’s House artworks to the test on this self-guided trail. 
Find the clues located throughout the House, and see if you can work out who the mystery female character is. Guess correctly, and you can collect a free sticker from the shop.

The Queen's House Treasures Tour – Modern and Contemporary Art (7th, 14th, 21st and 27th March) - Book Now
Time: 12:30pm - 1:30pm [Duration: 50-60 mins]
Meeting Point: Undercroft, located through the door between the curved exterior staircases
Tickets: £5 Adults; £3.50 Students; £2.50 Children
Discover thought-provoking pieces of modern and contemporary art on display at the Queen’s House and learn about female artists such as Alberta Whittle (pictured), Christy Symington and Tania Kovats.

At the end of the tour, you will gain exclusive access to the balcony with views of Greenwich Park.

This brand-new guided tour uncovers hidden stories of female figures featured in the Queen’s House collection.

Join the passionate team and learn about the daughter of a famous admiral, ordinary women who were ahead of their time and powerful queens.

The Ceilings of the Queen’s House - Find out more
Date/Time: 15th March at 10:45am and 16th March at 1:45pm
Discover more about Artemisia Gentileschi, one of the artists who created artworks for the ceilings of the Queen’s House. This former royal residence was at the cutting edge of art and architecture when it was completed for Queen Henrietta Maria in the 1630s.

Feminist Perspectives - Find out more 
Date: 15th and 16th March 
Time: 11:30am and 2:30pm 
Engage with the history and collection of the Queen’s House from a feminist point of view. Learn about Queen Henrietta Maria's patronage of the arts during the 17th century, and think about the presence (or absence) of women in the artworks on display.

Learn more about Queens Consort and their roles in the history of the Queen’s House.

HERbs for Health (12th March) 
Time: 6:30pm - 8:30pm

Celebrate Women's History Month with an introductory workshop on the connection between women, plants and health throughout history and create your own aromatherapy spray.

Sips of Wisdom (22nd March)

Celebrate the knowledge of African Caribbean herbs for women's health and create your own design on a cup and saucer to take home in this workshop for Women's History Month.
