Anthony Joseph is an award winning Trinidad-born poet, novelist, academic and musician. He is the author of four poetry collections and three novels. While as a musician he has released eight critically acclaimed albums.

Joseph's most recent album - The Rich Are Only Defeated When Running For Their Lives - was released in May 2021 and has been hailed as his best work yet, described in Jazzwise as 'a fiery combination of politics, history and Caribbean culture'.

Aided by the arrangements of saxophonist, composer and producer Jason Yarde and a full live band of first-class musicians backing him up, this promises to be one of the go-to gigs of 2022.
