Festive markets always make things feel properly Christmassy, and Greenwich has some of London’s best in 2024! Plus, you can enjoy the warm glow that comes from supporting small local businesses and buying unique gifts from independent stallholders.
We’ve prepared a list of all the superb Christmas markets happening across the Royal Borough of Greenwich that are all lit up and ready to celebrate our favourite winter festival, with more to come as the season unfolds...
Open Daily, 10am to 5pm
With spectacular Christmas decorations and twinkly Christmas lights from 20 November, you’ll get into the festive mood when shopping Greenwich Market’s incredible range of stalls and shops, while dining on Christmas-inspired treats from around the world. Extended hours until 6pm means there’s plenty of time to seek out that perfect gift before a cup of spiced apple cider.

The spirit of Christmas has taken over Greenwich Peninsula once again, with a spectacular 10m tall Christmas tree, an enchanting carousel for kids to ride on, and the Greenwich Peninsula Market Quarter selling artsy Christmas gifts. Indulge in seasonal treats from the festive stalls - crispy churros with cinnamon sugar, authentic bratwurst with gourmet toppings, and mulled wine or deluxe hot chocolate. No need to book - just turn up, have a wander, and let a little winter magic brighten your day.

You’ll find a host of things to do at the Royal Arsenal Winter Festival this Christmas. As well as a Christmas Crafternoon that’ll delight the whole family, and a Gingerbread Greenwich to admire at the Visitors Book Café, the Royal Arsenal Farmers' Market will be packed with delicious food and drinks plus beautiful handmade arts and crafts.
